I am Mohammed Zubair Abdul Azeez known as Abu Achchi. Iam from Rajagiriya, Sri Lanka. Iam a fashion designer with my own label Abu Achchi Designer wear, since 2015 with my experience in the fashion design industry where my own creativity challenges at certain levels make me more than perfect I think. In my small age I passed good and bad situations, although the challenges I overcome my mom doesn’t leave me alone, every time she was my backbone!

As the turning point into the Fashion Design Industry, I designed my first piece of clothing, a Kurti at the age of 10 Yrs and this was the incident that created the path to be the Managing Director of DeNovo Closet by Abu Achchi. All the new designs that I create with my heart always define my work as unique and out of the box and for me, the designs should convey the client's or models' personality as well. I always focus and work hard to get Decent and Superfinishing for my new innovations. With the Launching of DeNovo Closet by Abu Achchi I met my lovely and Most Supportive Wife where she makes me Stronger enough to overcome all the hard situations.

While I move forward with the time, I started design for both males and females. But as I believe & experience that designing for females gives more space for experimenting and more challenges to face. All the time my mind is always set on fashion designing which is a gift from my mother who is a reputed childrenswear designer. More than 12 Years of experience in the fashion design industry led to being a part of the only known international ethnic pageant Miss India Worldwide in Mumbai. And i was the Official fashion designer for Sri Lanka in the pageant, designing for Miss Sri Lanka for Miss India Worldwide 2015.

I have received 12 Awards from the 2015 to 2023 period including Winner Asia Book of Records, Winner India Book of Records, and Srilankan Top 100 Leaders Award twice.

• Fashion Designer 2016 at Arcade Srilankan
• Represented Sri Lanka at the "Les Nuits" Paris Fashion Show 2016 held at Paris
• Best Designer Award 2019 Chennai Fashion Contest India
• FB Awards India at High Fashion Designer of Srilankan 2021 in India
• Srilankan Top 100 Leaders Award 2021 in Sri Lanka
• Srilankan Top 100 Leader Award 2022 in Sri Lanka
• Namma Largest Fashion Walk FB Best Designer Award 2020 in India
• Winner Asia Book of Records 2020 Tamil Nadu, India
• Ranked 1st on the Art Competition held at Data soft Institute in 2000
• Specially chosen by a panel of judges for Ran Daru Art Exhibition in 2005

While I Received trophies and a reputation, I continue to work on my own brand Denovo Clothing brand which aims the space in high-end fashion providing an array of unique one-of-a-kind pieces for conscious individuals. And I am the Director of Zara Bridals & Beauty Glow from Sri Lanka. I am also a pastry chef I make bridal flower bouquets and flower arrangements as well.
